KAYAKING

Navigate the serene and calm waters Lake Muhazi with your own watercraft solo or tandem, sit-on or sit-in options available. A guide is available to teach and join you for a tour of the lake.

STAND-UP PADDLE BOARDING

Trade your chair for a paddleboard. The lake stays calm enough to cruise the shoreline standing up, or even try a little yoga mid-water if you're feeling steady.

mASSAGE

After a long week, our lakeside massage parlour is a sweet reward. Choose a 30- or 60-minute full body massage, available daily from 8am to 6pm.

COMMUNITY WALK

Step out to meet our neighbours, join 'umuganda' — Rwanda's monthly community cleaning day, or browse the local market. It's a window into daily life here, and 15% of our boutique shop's proceeds go straight back into community initiatives nearby.

BIRD WATCHING

You barely have to leave the lodge to spot an impressive variety of birds here. For a closer look or to capture a perfect photo — a guided nature walk can be arranged on request.
