Community is a large part of UMVA. It is a requirement to join us for the communal dining experience where we get to meet people we may never meet in life. We believe the most memorable experiences are amplified exponentially by the people you enjoy them with.

We’re supporting the new generation of responsible operators that hold sustainability as a key value. From the moment we broke ground and decided on rammed earth construction (30-40% less carbon emissions) to not using single use plastics, we always look for ways to reduce our footprint on the ecosystem.

UMVA is a young and dynamic experience brand, which newly interprets classic accommodation by optimizing work processes. The entire guest services are concentrated on the essentials. We dispense of the unimportant such as a room telephone, room service, a minibar and the reception. This allows us to provide activities for free and ensure our pricing is always competitive. Our concept is aimed at the young or young at heart, active people who like to be surrounded by like-minded beings who share the same love for nature and joy for life.

We love working with entrepreneurs. Over 80% of our team are entrepreneurs who have their business plans ready to go. We see UMVA as a training ground for future ideas and models. OUR STORY
UMVA was started to bring to the forefront a new type of experience in hospitality - combining adventure, amazing food, and community. The original idea started with a lake house with a big dining table, but one thing led to another and we decided we wanted to host more people.
Great design has always been a driving value for us - we wanted you to feel closely integrated to the natural environment, ensuring there was a seamless transition from the indoors to the outdoors.
