The Pod faces Lake Muhazi head on, from both the bedroom and the bathroom. Double sliding doors open onto a private terrace, and the bathroom is set so the shower gives an open, yet private, view of the water.
Hand-crafted furniture uses raw solid steel and local fine hardwoods. The walls are rammed earth, built on site and complemented by hand-made white bricks from Huye; the deck is Muvula wood, dried by the lake for six months.
One king-sized bed sits on frames that split into two singles, perfect for sharing with a friend.
